Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a CT Technologist at St. Luke's Health – Memorial San Augustine in Texas. You will perform CT exams and create cross-sectional images to assist radiologists in diagnosis while ensuring patient comfort throughout the imaging process.

The role emphasizes adherence to imaging protocols, equipment maintenance, infection control, and accurate records. Experience in radiography and ARRT certification are required, with CPR/BLS and TX licensure as per state standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program from an accredited institution.
• One year as a radiographer.
• Medical Radiographer: TX.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days and
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.
• Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
• Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems
• Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.
• Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
• Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure
