The role emphasizes accurate imaging, proper contrast administration when needed, and maintaining high-quality patient care during diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human anatomy and disease processes.
• Ability to position patients and operate radiographic equipment.
• Understanding of radiation protection principles and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-rays per standards set by ARRT, ACR, and the Texas Medical Board.
• Verify orders, follow exam protocol, and administer contrast when indicated.
• Provide patient care and ensure image quality for diagnostic interpretation.
