St David's Emergercy Center Circle C is seeking a CT Technologist CIR C FSED to join our team. You will perform CT scans and x-rays following ARRT, ACR, and Texas Medical Board standards to support diagnosis and treatment.

The role emphasizes proper patient care, adherence to protocols, verification of orders, and safe contrast administration. Excellent teamwork and patient communication are essential as part of our diagnostic imaging service.

Responsibilities

• You will demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, disease processes and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection and specialized techniques
• You will verify written orders match requisition prior to performing exam
• You will follow appropriate protocol for the exam ordered
• You will administer contrast material using proper technique

Job Summary

As a CT Technologist(CT Tech) you will perform CT scans and take x-rays according to the standards and practices set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Radiology and the Texas Medical Board to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs Computed Tomography procedures to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomical images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patientcare and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
