Job summary

Rock Health is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced radiology department. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration with the imaging team to support diagnostic excellence.

You will perform CT procedures, monitor patient condition, administer contrast when required, and ensure proper study finalization within RIS/PACS systems while adhering to ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications in ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images while maintaining safety and quality.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to minimize radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Ensure equipment cleanliness, report issues, and follow infection control protocols.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using AIDET communication.
• Administer contrast, position patients accurately, and review images for diagnostic quality.
• Document procedures accurately, manage RIS/PACS systems, and ensure proper study finalization.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment readiness.
• Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
