Job summary

Rock Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT imaging expertise to provide safe, accurate diagnostic services in our Georgia radiology department. Your responsibilities include performing procedures, patient preparation and positioning, administering contrast safely, ensuring image quality, and data transfer to PACS while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.

Required credentials: Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT, BLS; minimum 1 year radiology experience

Qualifications

Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
ARRT-R, ARRT-CT certifications and BLS certification required.
Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performing a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
Preparing and positioning patients, ensuring proper identification, and maintaining patient comfort and privacy.
Administering contrast media safely, monitoring patient condition, and responding to emergencies.
Ensuring image quality, proper equipment operation, and timely data transfer to PACS.
Assisting with equipment maintenance, restocking supplies, and supporting departmental operations.
Communicating clearly with patients, families, and medical staff, providing instructions and addressing concerns.
Participating in quality control, adhering to safety standards, and documenting procedures accurately.
Supporting training and maintaining regulatory compliance.
