Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist for Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA. This part-time position offers 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with weekend rotation.

You will prepare patients, position them on the CT table, and explain the procedure with empathy. You will operate CT scanners and X-ray machines, monitor patient safety, assist radiologists, and help with contrast administration when needed. Maintain equipment and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT certification required.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and ensure proper positioning on the CT table and explain the procedure.
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray machines to obtain quality images while minimizing radiation exposure and ensuring safety.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Assist radiologists in interpreting images and administering contrast agents when needed.
• Maintain quality assurance for CT/X-ray equipment and ensure proper operation and hygiene protocols.
