Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required.

• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Position patients properly on the CT table and explain the procedure with empathy.
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray machines to obtain diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Assist radiologists and potentially administer contrast agents or assist in certain procedures.
• Ensure quality assurance of CT/X-ray equipment.

Overview

CT Technologist ($10,000 Bonus if you have some CT experience)

Location: Southern Regional Medical Center; Riverdale, GA

Nights | 3 Days | Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the Computer Tomography (CT) table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may have
• Operate CT scanners and/ou X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times
• Monitor our patients, as a CT Technologist ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Assist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced by the CT exam you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain procedures
• Accountable for the quality assurance of CT scanners / X-ray machines to ensure they function properly and produce accurate images

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
• Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
• ARRT Certification
• Current BCLS (AHA)
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
• Proficient computer skills
