Job summary

Associates in Medical Imaging, LLC seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams in outpatient or mobile imaging environments. You will educate patients, operate CT equipment, acquire and reconstruct images, administer contrast when authorized, and follow radiation-safety standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, CT and ARRT certifications, and state licensure if required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Current CT Certification and ARRT Certification.
• Current state license or permit, if required for the practice location.
• One year of CT experience or completion of a 500-hour CT training program.

Responsibilities

• Review orders, verify patient identity, and educate patients per age group.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images.
• Screen patients for contrast risks; administer contrast when authorized and monitor for reactions.
• Document examinations and maintain quality-control checks.
• Follow radiation-safety and infection-prevention policies across procedures.
