Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with current state license.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (excluding schooling).
• ARRT or CMRT certification required.
• BLS certification required; continuing education current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for procedures and ensure comfort.
• Position patient and adjust technical factors for quality scans.
• Operate CT scanner to obtain cross-sectional images.
• Administer contrast media as directed by physician.
• Monitor for adverse drug events and report as needed.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties as needed, such as answering phones.
