Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist for per diem, on-site in Marlborough, MA. This role scans and assists with a variety of CT examinations, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality. The position requires ARRT or NMTCB CT certification and MA licensure, with a focus on excellent patient care and teamwork.

The successful candidate will work with Radiology to perform exams, document procedures, and support scheduling and inventory needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by ARRT or NMTCB in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Performs QC on images and sends exams to PACS for physician review.
