Job summary

Prime Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist) to join our Per Diem team. You will work with radiology staff to acquire high-quality CT images and support the Radiologist in diagnostic procedures, with image processing and transmission to PACS.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, radiology license and BCLS, plus knowledge of CT equipment, anatomy, and radiology terminology. Per Diem schedule, typical weekday days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT Certification required as of 07/01/2015.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT images in collaboration with the Radiologist.
• Assist Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
