• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Keeps patient medical information confidential.
• Reporting Relationship: Director and Clinical Manager of Radiology Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Explain imaging procedures and address patient questions.
• Administer contrast media as per hospital policies and orders.
• Monitor patients during and after contrast administration for adverse reactions.
• Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Maintain patient records in EMR and PACS.
• Follow ALARA radiation safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and others to coordinate patient care.
• Assist with quality assurance and equipment performance monitoring.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide support as needed.
• Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation.

The CT Technologist performs computerized tomography (CT) procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation protection standards.

• Assist with quality assurance and equipment performance monitoring.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of accredited Radiography school
• Current WI Radiographer license and ARRT Certification
• CT Certification preferred upon hire (required within one year of training completion)
• CPR certification within 90 days
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
