Qualifications

• Certification as a Diagnostic Radiology and Fluoroscopy Technologist is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of experience or advanced certification in ARRT Computed Tomography required.

Overview

Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is searching for a Special Procedures Technician. Candidate must be able to rotate on call as needed. Monterey Park Hospital is a 101 bed acute care community hospital that has provided our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 40 years.

Responsibilities

The CT Tech must have knowledge of full anatomy and the ability to operate the scanner independently without supervision. The candidate must manage working in a demanding modality and cope with late hours. The candidate will also have knowledge of all supplies for performing CT procedures.

Qualifications

Certification from CDPH as a Diagnostic Radiology and Fluoroscopy Technologist is required. Advanced certification in computed tomography by 1/1/18 is required. Current BLS certification is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience or advanced certification in ARRT Computed Tomography is necessary.
