Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and CT procedures with precision and compassion. The role requires independent work, adherence to safety protocols, and strong patient communication in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The successful candidate will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient privacy, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality studies, while maintaining documentation and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications (required on hire).
• BLS or ARC-BLS and BLS Instructor where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders and ensures patient identification before procedures.
• Prepares and positions patients; operates imaging equipment; maintains sterile technique.
• Reviews images for quality; routes studies to PACS; assists with emergencies and life support equipment.
