RadNet in Fremont, CA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic CT exams and monitor patients through procedures. You will guide patients, respond to physician needs, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualifications

• State licensure may be required.
• ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) certification.
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns about exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
