Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist in Rockville, Maryland, to deliver high-quality radiologic CT exams while ensuring patient comfort and safety. As a member of our professional team, you'll use your expertise to monitor patients, respond to inquiries, and follow regulations for safe imaging.

It is essential to possess ARRT certification and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience. We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage along with 401(k) matching and wellness dollars.

Qualifications

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with Company policies.
• Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
