You will collaborate with physicians and staff to answer questions, safeguard patient information, and maintain professional standards in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Qualifications

• State regulations may necessitate required certifications (ARRT CT, ARRT R).
• BLS certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or problems.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through exam procedures and answer questions.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and law.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients and families in a clinical setting.
