Job summary

Altru Health System is seeking a CT Technologist at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. You will ensure proper orders are in place, assist radiologists, and review imaging in PACS to ensure accuracy and readiness for interpretation.

The role emphasizes patient safety and comfort, with responsibilities including preparing injections, calculating doses, and maintaining complete records of all materials used and images captured.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English required.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of materials received, dispensed, decayed and disposed of.
• Certification and licensing requirements must be met within stated timelines.
• Temporary ND license accepted prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper physician order is received prior to exam performance and collects necessary information.
• Assists Radiologist with patient exams and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Reviews images for quality and completeness in PACS and routes for interpretation.
• Prepares and administers medications as required and documents dosage and records.
• Maintains documentation and records related to materials and exams.
