Job summary

Methodist Hospital Hill Country in Fredericksburg, Texas, is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, patient positioning, and procedural prep. You will operate CT systems, use Meditech for scheduling and charges, and ensure patient safety and comfort across all age groups.

The ideal candidate will maintain CT room cleanliness, restock supplies, and collaborate with team members while adhering to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates competency in CT imaging, patient positioning, and procedure prep.
• Knowledge of CT equipment, power injectors, biopsy devices.
• Ability to care for patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Maintains cleanliness and inventory of CT rooms.
• Works independently and as part of a team.
• Follows disinfection techniques and restocks supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures with proper technique and positioning.
• Use Meditech for scheduling, patient tracking, and charges.
• Provide care to patients across age groups (neonate to geriatrics).
• Uphold safety policies and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain CT room cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, vendors, and patients.
• Cross-train in other department functions as needed.
• Participate in Dosewatch monitoring and CT radiation safety.
