Qualifications
High School diploma, or equivalent required.
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently.
Certification in imaging specialty.
Responsibilities
Provide patient-centered scanning services.
Screen patients before exams for precautions.
Explain and prepare patients for scanning procedures.
Perform routine and advanced scanning procedures.
Support patients throughout the procedure.
Maintain records within the Radiology Information System.
