Trinity Health, in partnership with St Joseph’s Health, seeks a CT Technologist for part-time coverage in Syracuse, NY. Under supervision, you will operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.

The position requires completing a 2-year Radiologic Technology program, NY state registration, ARRT, CPR/BLS, and CT certification within one year of hire. Prior radiology experience is preferred and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• A minimum of two years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist is strongly preferred.
• Valid New York State radiology registration as required by state law.
• ARRT certification and current CPR/BLS certification.
• CT certification is required within one year from hire date.

Responsabilités

• Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions.
• Administer contrast material.
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment.
• Position patients to capture appropriate images.
• Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading.
• Clean and disinfect scanner and exam rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Maintain high accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.
