Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a Part-time Flex role at our outpatient imaging center. The schedule features three days per week from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, delivering high-quality CT imaging with patient-first care.

You will perform CT procedures per established protocols, ensure ALARA principles, educate patients, and participate in quality assurance, while adhering to ARRT certifications and state licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiology or a two-year radiology program.
• ARRT registration in Radiography; CT advanced registry required upon hire for IDTF centers.
• State licensure as required where you practice.
• Up to 5 years of CT Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and related techniques per physician request for interpretation.
• Ensure services are performed safely following guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with imaging center team and provide feedback for clinical practice improvement.
• Relays and documents orders in the patient medical record and verifies histories.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Provide patient education and participate in quality assurance activities.
