Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures that support physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You will operate CT scanners, inject contrast when needed, and optimize scan protocols while protecting patients from unnecessary exposure.

You will prepare and position patients across multiple body regions, maintain safety standards, and stay current with protocols for thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a specialized CT training program.
• Proficient in operating CT systems and safety-guided protocols.

Role Overview:

Performs CT procedures to acquire diagnostic images, supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems, maintaining expertise across multiple locations and systems. Ensures protocols adhere to safety guidelines, including dose management and patient protection. Maintains thorough knowledge of clinical histories, anatomy, and physiology to select appropriate protocols for various systems such as Thoracic, Abdominal, Pelvic, Neuro, and Musculoskeletal. Obtains high-quality images by properly preparing and positioning patients, using shielding when necessary, and selecting correct technical factors. Conducts advanced imaging procedures like CTA, TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging, and performs CT interventional procedures. Maintains understanding of pharmacology and physics to optimize scan quality and minimize patient dose. Interprets technical factors to improve scan speed and quality, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a specialized training program. Proficient in operating different CT systems and maintaining protocols based on safety and clinical guidelines. Knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and physics. Strong attention to detail, patient care, and technical expertise required.
