Qualifications

  • Graduated from a 2-year Radiology Technology program.

  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Kansas state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography duties in compliance with requirements.
  • Establish rapport with patients to identify service needs.
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring proper positioning.
  • Document patient care services accurately.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

CT Tech's role and responsibilities are:

  • Perform computed tomography duties in compliance with facility and legal requirements.
  • Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients, service representatives, and all other personnel.
  • Prepares patient for CT procedures by positioning patient, screening for IV contrast, and adjusting necessary equipment and exposure factors to obtain quality images.
  • Documents patient care services by charting patient and department records.
  • Willingness to assist with other duties when asked.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a 2-year accredited school of Radiology Technology
  • ARRT Radiology and Computed Tomography
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Kansas state licensure as Radiologic Technologist
