Job summary

UNC Health seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures across multiple North Carolina locations. You will acquire diagnostic data and ensure patient safety while adhering to imaging protocols.

Responsibilities include maintaining licensure, completing CT certification within one year, and staying current with continuing education and HCP BLS requirements. Per diem, part-time and full-time roles are available.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiological Science program or completion within 3 months of application.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible; provide diploma if registry eligible.
• Advanced CT certification required within one year of employment; maintain registry status and CE requirements annually.

Incentives:

Select full-time positions are eligible for up to $15,000 in commitment incentives.

Salary Range:

$33.37 - $51.57 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.

Hours:

Per Diem, Part-time, and Full-time available.

Locations:

Summary:

Conducts procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Education Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible. For registry eligible candidates: must provide a copy of diploma from an accredited program.
• Requires advanced certification in CT within one year of employment.
• Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and must maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
• All imaging specialists are required to maintain current competency in HCP BLS.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• CT Technologist I: Prior education, training and experience that provides the ability to perform the assigned tasks.
• CT Technologist II: Three (3) years of experience as a CT Technologist.
