Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Full-Time CT Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Days) for Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. The role supports the Center for Advanced Medicine on CAM and the 3rd Floor CT Dept, or ACB / Gary C Werth Siteman Cancer Center, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, conducting CT studies, and adhering to department protocols. Outpatient oncology focus, no call, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school completed (or higher).
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography RT(R) and/or CT.
• CT experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for CT procedures.
• Performs CT studies independently, including on-call scenarios and portable exams as required.

Position Details:

• Day Shift: Shift can be 4 x10’s (6:30am – 5pm) with day of to be determined if Tuesday or Thursday – or – 5 x 8’s shift Mon -Fri (8am -5pm)
• NO CALL, WEEKENDS, or Holidays!
• Outpatient Oncology Dept
• CT Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist position
• CT Radiology Technologist – Certified – preferred
• 1 year CT experience – preferred

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or CT

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
