Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a CT Technologist for UCHealth Estes Valley Medical Center in Estes Park, CO. The role focuses on direct patient CT imaging, contrast administration, and image quality in a weekend-day shift.

Qualified candidates will be Radiologic Technologists registered with ARRT in CT, with BLS certification and state licensure if required. Prior CT experience is preferred and a strong patient-care mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in CT by ARRT. State licensure if required by law. BLS Healthcare Provider.
• 2 Years (preferred).
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist
• BLS CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, initiates CT images based on physician order and educates the patient.
• Safely administers contrast media or imaging medications and monitors patient condition.
• Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Implements techniques to yield image clarity and ensure quality control and equipment function per Radiology best practices (AART).
• May perform 3-D post processing and report scan results.
