Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging and patient care in a fast-paced radiology department. The role requires reviewing patient history, obtaining physician orders, and educating patients about procedures.

You will safely administer contrast media, monitor patient conditions, and ensure image quality. The position supports 3-D post processing and accurate reporting, contributing to high-quality diagnostic results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• One year of experience.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in CT by ARRT.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS - CPR certification with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates CT images based on physician order; educates patient as needed.
• Safely administers contrast media or related imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Responds and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Applies techniques to yield image clarity; maintains quality control and equipment functionality per best practices in Radiology (AART).
• May perform 3-D post processing and report scan results.
