Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Non-Certified CT Technologist trainee to join its CT department. This training position works under the supervision of a licensed CT Technologist to help deliver diagnostic images and support ARRT certification preparation.

Candidates should have a year of acute radiology experience, knowledge of anatomy, and a radiology state license. ARRT RT certification is required on hire; ARRT CT certification within 6 months is preferred; BCLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assist CT imaging under supervision of licensed CT Technologist.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
• Complete all required competencies, exams, and didactics to sit for ARRT CT examination within 6 months of hire.
• This is a training position in the CT department.
• Work under the supervision of the certified CT Technologist until ARRT-CT certification has been obtained.

Responsibilities

The Non – Certified CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images under the direct supervision of a licensed CT Technologist. The Non – Certified CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, aiding in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will complete all required competencies, exams, and didactics that are required to sit for and complete the ARRT CT examination within 6 months of hire. This is a training position in the CT department. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will work under the supervision of the certified CT Technologist until ARRT-CT certification has been obtained.
