Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Non–Certified CT Technologist for a training position in the CT department. You will work under supervision to provide quality diagnostic images and support radiology procedures.

ARRT-RT certification is required upon hire, with ARRT-CT certification expected within six months of employment. The role offers per diem scheduling, with a focus on gaining expertise in CT imaging, safety protocols, and image processing for PACS transmission.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Radiology state license is required.
• Current ARRT-RT Certification is required upon hire
• ARRT-CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• The Non–Certified CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images under the direct supervision of a licensed CT Technologist.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
• Complete required competencies, exams, and didactics to sit for ARRT CT examination within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

The Non – Certified CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images under the direct supervision of a licensed CT Technologist. The Non – Certified CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, aiding in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will complete all required competencies, exams, and didactics that are required to sit for and complete the ARRT CT examination within 6 months of hire. This is a training position in the CT department. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will work under the supervision of the certified CT Technologist until ARRT-CT certification has been obtained.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $40.13 to $45.40. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
