Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) is required.
• Active state radiologic technologist license is required (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS is preferred.
• 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience, CT imaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Using CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection.
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality.

Skills

ARRT certification (R)

Active state license

BLS certification

ACLS preferred

1–2 years CT imaging experience

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
