Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will prepare and position patients, monitor contrast administration, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate, timely results.

The role requires 1–2 years of clinical radiologic experience and CT certification eligibility, with night shifts Sat–Tue, 9 pm–7 am.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience required.
• 2-4 years CT Technologist experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Completion of radiologic technology program and licensure as applicable

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and processing systems to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Position patients safely using proper immobilization techniques.
• Verify patient identity and orders, screen for contraindications.
• Administer contrast media per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Review images for technical accuracy and communicate findings to the radiologist.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control checks regularly.
• Follow safety, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines.
