Job summary

Sanford Health in the United States is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans and produce high-quality images. The role requires professional judgment in procedures and interaction with patients and staff.

The CT Technologist will provide patient care, learn new technology, and may conduct mobile imaging, EKG, and DEXA procedures. Night shift, 40 hours weekly, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school or JCERT accredited program is required.
• ARRT certification required at time of hire.
• CT training or experience preferred.
• Licensure requirements vary by state (ND/SD/IA) and BLS/IV certification within six weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT scans and produces quality CT exam images.
• Provides patient care and initiates life support measures as necessary.
• Interacts effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department staff, and healthcare workers.
• Operates CT equipment and may perform related procedures and protocols; learns new technology.
• May perform mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures.
