Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will prepare and position patients, follow established protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate results.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on the night shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state (required).
• CT certification or eligibility within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Positions patients and ensures safety during CT procedures.
• Verifies orders and screens patients for contraindications.
• Administers contrast media per protocol and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Communicates procedures and findings with patients and radiologists.
• Maintains CT equipment and performs quality control checks.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures as needed.
• Documents history and correlates findings with imaging studies.
