Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a CT Technologist for a StaffFlex contract on the night shift. The role requires CT and XR experience, BLS, and ARRT certifications.

You will float between Ocoee and Millenia ED, performing CT and radiography exams with attention to patient safety and protocol compliance. Associate’s degree in radiologic technology is required, and the facility emphasizes patient care, infection control, and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• RT(R) radiography license required.
• RT(CT) accreditation required by ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment safely and properly, ensuring patient identification and education prior to the exam.
• Position patients and equipment to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards.
• Screen patients for age-related considerations and minimize radiation exposure following infection control norms.
• Perform clerical duties such as answering calls, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked exam room and assist with patient history documentation.
• Provide direct patient care within the technologist’s scope of practice and explain procedures to patients.
• Adapt imaging protocols as necessary for patients of all ages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
