Job summary

DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under supervision, verify patient identity, review records, and ensure imaging is conducted per protocol.

You will interview patients, explain procedures, set up equipment, acquire images, and communicate findings with radiologists, contributing to high-quality care and patient safety. Shift: Night, Full Time.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiology or CT preferred.
• AHA BLS training by end of orientation.
• One or more years of experience as Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or CT.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams using imaging equipment.
• Verify patient identity and review medical records for appropriateness of exam.
• Interview patient to obtain medical history and assess risk factors.
• Explain procedure, risks, benefits, alternatives and follow-up to patient.
• Set up equipment and acquire images per protocol.
• Review images, document exceptions and communicate with radiologist.
