Job summary

Duke Health Cary Hospital is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to support a new, expanded campus delivering comprehensive imaging services. You will operate CT scanners, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality patient care as the Cary campus opens its doors in Spring 2027.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered and CT certification must be achieved within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum two years of CT technologist experience required.
• Four years in a related imaging specialty supports promotion and growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment per radiation safety rules.
• Position patients using clinical protocols and positioning devices.
• Perform exams accurately following established protocols and safety standards.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, IV starts, and contrast administration.
• Support interventional CT procedures and image interpretation preparation.
• Evaluate CT image quality and organize images for archiving and review.
• Schedule procedures, manage clerical tasks, and document charges in the EHR.
• Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists and students.
