Job summary

Dent Neurologic Institute in Buffalo, NY seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under physician supervision. The role requires an AAS in Radiology, ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) credentials, NYSDOH radiologic license, and BLS. 1+ year CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities include image accuracy, patient support, documentation, and collaboration with nursing and radiology teams. This position offers full-time hours, comprehensive benefits, and a no overnight shift schedule.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiology Technology from an approved school.
• ARRT certification ARRT (R), ARRT (CT).
• Must maintain current license as Radiologic Technologist, with injection by NYSDOH.
• BLS required at time of acceptance of position.
• Minimum 1 year working experience on CT machines.

Responsibilities

• Translates physician orders into imaging procedures with attention to age and development needs.
• Performs CT examinations of all anatomic structures as ordered by the physician.
• Instructs and supports patients during imaging, explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Obtains patient history and documents results; assists with IV lines/injections as needed.
• Provides direction to staff during shifts and ensures adequate coverage and workflow.
• Monitors workflow to maintain timely patient testing and accurate paperwork.
