CT Technologist - Mon-Fri, $5K Sign-On Bonus

Job summary

Envision Imaging seeks a Full-Time CT Technologist to join our outpatient team. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a position pay range of $35.35 - $45.57 and a $5,000 sign-on bonus to eligible hires.

The CT Technologist performs CT examinations, positions patients, and obtains high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation, while ensuring safety and patient care throughout the exam process.

Qualifications

• Two plus years' experience in CT preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
• Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Performs exams while attending to patient's care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient's condition changes at any time.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
