Job summary

The University of Kentucky CT Technologist position provides CT imaging to support physicians and expedite patient care. You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols and assist with OR exams while maintaining patient privacy.

QA reviews and adherence to UK HealthCare values are essential. Required ARRT and Kentucky license by hire, CT certification within one year, and BLS within 90 days; at least one year CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Radiology or active enrollment in a program with anticipated graduation date.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain ARRT certification and Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License by date of hire.
• CT certification within one year of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• At least one year CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT imaging to assist physicians and expedite care.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols.
• Assist with OR exams and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Contribute to QA reviews to maintain professional standards.
