Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System's Methodist Fremont Health in Fremont, NE is hiring a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will perform specialized CT procedures in accordance with policy and care standards, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient care.

The role requires an Associate’s degree (Bachelor preferred), ARRT radiography and CT certifications, and state licensure. Experience: 1–2 years CT or CT externship; 3–5 years Rad Tech preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology required; CT externship or 1–2 years CT experience preferred.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required; CT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Current Medical Radiographer license in the work state.
• BLS strongly preferred and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain diagnostic CT images.
• Minimize radiation exposure using protective methods and proper exposure factors.
• Maintain infection control and a safe work environment.
• Perform quality control and ensure accreditation compliance.
• Take department call as assigned and stay current with new procedures.
