WakeMed in Raleigh, NC seeks a CT Technologist to operate high-quality CT scanners, deliver compassionate patient care, and collaborate with radiologists to provide rapid, accurate imaging for critical patients. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to WakeWay standards in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center environment.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT CT certification, strong imaging and radiation safety expertise, and excellent communication and teamwork skills to support

Qualifications

• Active ARRT licensure with CT certification required.
• Graduate Radiologic Technology or CT-certification required.
• Licensure must be held at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans of designated body areas as ordered by physicians, following radiation safety protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, delivering care that is timely, professional, and efficient.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
• Maintain equipment and work area in accordance with departmental standards.
• Uphold the WakeWay by demonstrating excellence in service, safety, and patient care.
