WakeMed is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Imaging Services team in North Carolina. You will utilize state-of-the-art CT technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program, holds ARRT-R, and has CT/MR/NMT credentials. Prior radiology experience is preferred, with a strong commitment to teamwork and quality imaging.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Computed Tomography program.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) required, with CT/MR/NMT option.
• Prior clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality imaging practices.
• Collaborative communicator who thrives in a team-oriented healthcare environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT imaging procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition throughout imaging procedures, communicating any concerns to the care team.
• Position patients and imaging equipment to ensure accurate imaging and optimal image quality.
• Review patient records and imaging orders, prioritize workflow, prepare equipment, and maintain accurate documentation in electronic systems.
• Inspect, test, and maintain imaging equipment, reporting issues to ensure reliable operation and radiation safety compliance.
