• AdventHealth Kissimmee is a 242-bed community-focused hospital
• Conveniently located near Walt Disney World
• The team is dedicated to bringing mission-focused, faith-based care to residents and visitors of Osceola and Orange Counties
• AdventHealth Kissimmee has recently expanded its tower by 3 floors and 80 beds, including new ancillary spaces such as Inpatient Rehab, Inpatient Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging services.

The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, responsible for managing the daily operations in the CT area to ensure smooth and efficient flow, including maintenance of supplies within the designated budget. Performs imaging of neuro and body scans, building/performance of complicated 3D and CTA studies, and performs QA audits. Utilizes hospital performance improvement processes in Imaging Services. Maintains records, obtains patient clinical history, and assists radiologists in special procedures such as biopsies. Acts as a lead technologist, coordinating schedules, maintaining QI/QC, equipment maintenance, and modality meetings. Establishes and maintains ethical relationships with referring physicians, hospital, and commercial agencies. Meets with customers and partners to ensure service levels are maintained. Participates in customer service and maintains respectful relationships. Performs routine diagnostic and portable exams when needed, and provides supervision to employees. Demonstrates leadership, acts as a clinical resource, and ensures current standards of practice. Provides shift leadership and support to Imaging staff. Adheres to compliance and regulatory standards.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Performs all exams on all patient types using FH CT protocols, following proper identification and patient education procedures. Screens for contrast allergies, starts IVs, and performs complicated 3D and CTA studies.
• Completes exams efficiently, minimizes empty table time, and communicates effectively with patients. Manages supplies and monitors workflow.
• Operates all CT imaging equipment safely and properly, adapting protocols as necessary for patients of all ages. Serves as a clinical instructor.
• Ensures patient safety, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and practices infection control, radiation safety, and PPE use. May include transport of pharmaceutical waste, with proper training and safety procedures.
