Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with minimal supervision, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and support radiology operations. You will work with board-certified subspecialty radiologists and maintain patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT RT/CT registration and CPR certification. You will ensure proper equipment use, document imaging in PACS, collaborate with staff, and adapt to evolving departmental procedures

Qualifications

• Requires registration as a Certified Radiologic and Computerized Tomography Technologist by the State.
• Requires registration as an RT and CT Technologist by the ARRT.
• SimonMed Imaging requires valid hands on CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures and addresses concerns.
• Produces CT radiographs per departmental procedures.
• Regulates equipment to expose x-ray film and documents PACS imaging.
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with staff.
• Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
• Duties as assigned.
