Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Radiography (X-Ray) required within 180 days of hire.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 1 year of hire.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist IV License required within 180 days of permit issuance.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and radiographic procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensures patient safety, verifies patient identity, and explains procedures to patients.
• Operates CT equipment and performs quality control checks.
• Maintains documentation of exams and uses HIS/RIS for scheduling and reporting.
• Complies with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
