Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology team in Philadelphia. You will explain procedures, prepare the exam room, and record patient data, under a radiologist's direction, to produce diagnostic CT images.

The position requires ARRT certification and completion of an approved radiology program, with a schedule of Sundays through Wednesdays and a day shift pattern in the United States.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months experience and/or training required.
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
• Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
• Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
• Under the direction of the Radiologist, operates CT equipment to produce CT images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
