Job summary

Inova Health System in Alexandria, Virginia is seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join their team. This role involves administering patient care, maintaining safety protocols, and efficient departmental operations, with a varied shift schedule based on need.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited radiography program, hold ARRT certification, and possess Basic Life Support certification. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• CT Certification to be obtained within one year of acceptance.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Administer sound patient care practices to ensure patient safety.
• Completes ancillary tasks for efficient departmental operation.
• Demonstrates radiation protection/safety for patients and staff.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe condition.
• Tracks patients and addresses errors according to department procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
