Job summary

Independence Health System Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography examinations as directed by the radiologist.

The role requires data collection, patient verification, consent and education, proper protocol selection, and image optimization. You will coordinate with departments, monitor patient safety during contrast administration, and ensure images are properly stored and available for interpretation.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry must be current.
• Completion of JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Strong leadership and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Collects pertinent data about patient and procedure.
• Verifies patient identity and physician order.
• Explains the procedure to the patient and obtains consent.
• Assesses imaging parameters and preps for CT exam.
• Sends images to PACS for radiologist interpretation and archives as needed.
• Documents patient history and exam details in the RIS/PACS systems.
