Job summary

MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and deliver high-quality imaging per physician specifications. You will prepare patients, administer contrast, and maintain strict aseptic technique.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, documenting in EHR, and ensuring image quality and equipment safety. This role requires ARRT, CPR/BLS, Maryland licensure, and strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or radiologic technology certificate is required.
• ARRT certification is required upon hire.
• Maryland licensure upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment per physician specs and protocols.
• Prepare patients and administer contrast per policy.
• Maintain equipment and ensure QC, safety, and documentation.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate with care team.
